This is my oath

I am a Judeo-Christian, Buddha-loving Taoist;
born with bleached black, yellow and red skin.

I carry my femininity within my masculine shell,
and my masculine identity within my feminine heart.

I am part of a tribe called humanity, a people of a larger nation,
made of all living and inanimate objects and beings.

My now is a bridge between my past and my future;
my presence in this sphere, a temporary passage between the casual and the celestial.

I seek the light only so I may spread it; it is not mine to keep.
I heal myself so I may, by divine grace, heal others.
This is my oath.
